Maxi-Cosi Foray Stroller - Choco Mint Reviews
18 of 18 people found the following review helpful Style and function win out over ease of use., February 24, 2011 This review is from: Maxi-Cosi Foray Stroller - Choco Mint (Baby Product) I have been researching strollers for a while and had been very un-impressed with the typical, boxy standard-style strollers out there. They seemed very cookie-cutter. I had a Chicco Keyfit22 travel system and it was a great start but I wanted something a little *different*. I only seemed to find some of the things I really wanted in the European stroller market (also known as prams) or in the ultra high-end stroller market. (Quinny, Bugabee, Peg Perego, etc). I was trying to stick in the 150 range (found this particular color combo on sale for 179.99 with free shipping) and found that you couldn't get this much stroller until you hit the 300 mark. What a pleasant surprise to get this on sale! I think the color was discontinued but other than that I don't see any obvious changes for this year's model (2011).
So I get the box home and open it up. Nice! It is only in a few pieces, not oodles of tiny ones. It took about 15 minutes of assembly time. No tools, everything snaps... Read more
10 of 10 people found the following review helpful Great Stroller!, July 15, 2010 This review is from: Maxi-Cosi Foray Stroller - Choco Mint (Baby Product) I bought this stroller for my daughter when she was about 13 months old. I wanted a stroller with the option or facing forward or backward as she was young and I wanted her to still face me for a few more months. Over the past seven months I have been very happy with this stroller. There is a learning curve when you are first learning how to fold and unfold the stroller and take the seat on and off. However, once you get the hang of it it only takes 20-30 seconds to set the stroller up of fold it down. It's definitely not a one handed fold so you need to put baby in the car seat or have someone else hold the baby while unfolding or folding. For me this is not a big deal. The stroller looks great, it doesn't show dirt at all, it is padded and comfy for my daughter, it sits up high which is great for a curious toddler who wants to see the world, and it maneuvers really well. The cup holder is also great.
Pros:
Looks great!
Reversible seat

9 of 9 people found the following review helpful High quality and great looking stroller but NOT compact, NOT easy to fold, and BAD storage., March 28, 2011 This review is from: Maxi-Cosi Foray Stroller - Choco Mint (Baby Product) I have mixed feelings about this stroller after using it now for 1.5 years.
When my daughter was in her Maxi-Cosi infant seat, the click on part of the stroller worked really well. It wasn't totally easy to fold up and definitely required two hands to do it. This part of the stroller is compact and traveled well in the car and especially on flights. My husband is 6 foot 6 so the expandable handle worked great for him. It has minimal plastic and is well made. It is definitely all-terrain so works great at parks and on trails. Except for a really small and sort of awkward basket, I don't have any complaints for this use.
I was excited to use the toddler seat when we grew out of the infant car-seat. What I didn't quite realize is that this stroller in its toddler version definitely DOES NOT FOLD UP in a compact manner. It is possible to keep the seat on the base, but to store it anywhere or easily load it in a car, you have to remove the seat from the base... Read more
